Planning approval has been achieved for a very modern two-storey house with a flat roof, white rendered walls and pocketed elevations, in an off-street location in the conservation area.

The client's brief was for something different, something of its day and not a pastiche of the surrounding Victorian and Edwardian properties. This contemporary but sensitive design fulfills that brief and cleverly avoids overlooking other properties or being overbearing.

At the time of writing, details are being prepared for the realisation of this exciting building, unprecedented in the town.
