Home Sweet Home

Originally adapted and extended from a 1950s bungalow to a traditional 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in 2005, this house has recently been further modified to a 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom modern home.

The boxed, pocketed building form, featuring modern acrylic render, cedar batten rain screen cladding and large glass Fineline aluminium sliding doors, creates overhangs to prevent overheating in summer but allows winter sun to flood into the broken plan ground floor areas. The house now offers effortless outside-inside living areas and light, airy bedroom spaces.
